The Gamma Chapter at Midwestern State University (MSU) in Wichita Falls, Texas was established in March of 1994. An interest group whose desire to have a sorority that addressed the issues of Hispanic women was formed from the Organization of Hispanic Students. Elisa Reyna, from Texas Woman's University Alpha Chapter, was now attending MSU. Elisa along with twelve "founding mothers," established the Gamma Chapter at Midwestern State University.
