How to join.
To be considered a potential new member(pnm), the following requirements must be fulfilled:

Attend at least 3 recruitment events.

A completed application that has been signed and turned in to the executive board or advisor.

A cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or better on a 4.0 scale. If the PNM is a transfer student, the GPA from the previous college/university attended will be considered. First semester freshman who are interested in joining must at least have 6 college credit hours completed.

The PNM must be enrolled full-time (12 credit hours) or part-time (6 credit hours) for undergraduate. If the PNM is a graduate student, she must be enrolled full -time (9 credit hours) or part-time (6 credit hours).

A satisfactory interview conducted by the Executive Board.
Cost & when to join
PNM dues are $180 for the semester. Once the PNM becomes a member dues will then be $140 for the semester till member graduates. The Treasurer has payment plans available for the PNM.
At the beginning of each semester, the chapter has recruitment week where the sisters host fun and free events for anyone interested in joining can attend. During the events, interests learn about Sigma Lambda Alpha Sorority, Inc. and get to meet and mingle with the active sisters.
